A recent study looked at the effect of green tea on tendon healing in rats.

The results suggested that the combination of a diet high in green tea and glycine (which has been shown to help remodelling of inflamed tendons)  helped the recovery process of tendons after a tendinitis, which is a painful inflammatory condition of tendons.

We at the Tendinopathy Clinic just wonder whether the incidence of tendinopathies is correspondingly different in countries where green tea is consumed in larger quantities.
